The Gadsden Sports Complex has been the leader in sports programming and scheduling in Alabama for many years. The complex includes:

-2 high school baseball fields
-5 field softball/baseball complex
-12 court tennis center
-Combination football/soccer field
-One-mile lighted walking track
-Sports coliseum
-Walking trail
-Skateboard park
-Covered playground

The complex has hosted numerous local and state level competitions in softball, baseball, tennis, soccer, football, and basketball. The softball complex and staff has been awarded nationally for the hospitality and organization of national softball tournaments. The Jack Gaston Coliseum, located at the Sports Complex, along with its many sporting and civic events, is the home to the Therapeutic Recreation Department. The City of Gadsden also has three outlying youth baseball fields.
