Pedal Boats at Coosa Landing

Four pedal boats featuring unique animal designs – two swans, a duck, and a dragon – will be available for rental this summer. Each boat can fit up to five people, with two peddlers up front and a fully enclosed back bench seat.
Anyone interested in renting the boats can visit the Coosa Landing bait shop, located at 200 Lake Street, starting at 9 a.m. The last rental of the day is at 4 p.m.**
Renters must be at least 18 years old and bring an ID. Life jackets are required, and the city has some available for approved passengers. The rental fee is $20, which provides access for up to one hour. However, if multiple hours are needed, the first hour is $20 and each hour thereafter is $15.
The city says because this is the first year of this rental program, the rules, fees and times are subject to change. No rentals with winds higher than 10mph.
