Alabama Arts Trail on Broad

SAVE THE DATE: Alabama Arts Trail on Broad will take place May 8 - 9 in downtown Gadsden and invites Alabama visual artists to participate. The event connects the public directly with artists and provides opportunities to present and sell work. Live artist demonstrations will take place throughout the event, offering insight into artistic process and practice.

Artist booth spaces are limited. This form helps us gather information about your artistic practice and the type of work you plan to offer so we can organize a balanced event.

The Alabama Visual Arts Network invites demonstrating artists to apply as vendors for the inaugural Alabama Arts Trail on Broad event, taking place May 8–9 in downtown Gadsden.

Demonstrating artists will actively share their creative process with the public (for example: live painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, fiber, mixed media), while also having the opportunity to present and sell their work.

Vendor spaces are limited and open to Alabama artists only.

WHEN: May 8-9, 2026

WHERE: Broad Street, Downtown Gadsden, Alabama

COST: $40 per artist/vendor

PROVIDED: Tents for set up, a table for your booth

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:

Friday, May 8th
- 9:00 AM: Artist/vendor setup begins; K12 students will be onsite for live artist demos and tours of the Gadsden Art Museum
- 2:00 - 5:00 PM: Break
-5:00 PM: Event opens to the public for demos, performances, and artist/vendor engagement

Saturday, May 9th
- 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Mother's Day Market (artists/vendors sell work) and demos and performances running concurrently
