BassTactix Alabama is a Christian-based, 501 C3 Non-Profit youth and adult fishing tournament trail. The program was started in 2015 to provide a competitive venue for young people and adults who enjoy the sport of bass fishing.
BassTactix Alabama is sanctioned by The Bass Federation (TBF).
In most other youth sports, adults are observers from the sidelines. However, BassTactix Alabama brings a coach, often a parent or family member, and a team of young people into the competition. One of the unique rules is BassTactix Alabama coaches are allowed to compete against other coaches during the tournament.
BassTactix Alabama qualifies youth anglers for the TBF and MLF Big 5 Series, National and World Finals, and our own G. G. King National Invitational Championship.
Our focus is on the next generation of fishermen. Kindergarten thru 12th graders compete for cash, prizes, and up to $140,000 (per team) in scholarships at each tournament.
In 2022-23 season BassTactix Alabama offered over 1.5 million dollars in scholarship opportunities to 375 anglers.
BassTactix Alabama youth get a chance to be involved in various community service projects. We also host events to honor our military and first responders.
Since its beginning, BassTactix Alabama has equipped young anglers with the skills they need to be successful anglers in youth, collegiate, and adult divisions.
BassTactix strives to set the example and provide opportunities for serving Jesus Christ by sharing love, talents, skills, and fellowship.
