District 3 Community Notice – Fire Safety Initiative

District 3 residents, in response to recent house fires and out of an abundance of care for our community, we are partnering with the Gadsden Fire Department to bring back a free smoke detector installation program.

Eligible homeowners who live within the City of Gadsden limits are invited to sign up for installation assistance on January 20, 2026, from 5:30–7:00 PM at the Carver Community Center, 1030 Tuscaloosa Avenue.

This effort is focused on prevention and life safety, working smoke detectors save lives. Please review the flyer for details and share with neighbors who may benefit.
