Downtown Gadsden Christmas Tree Lighting

Get ready to make holiday memories at the City of Gadsden's annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree! Join us for a magical evening filled with festive sights, sounds, and all-around merriment as downtown Gadsden sparkles to life with holiday cheer!
The tree lighting ceremony will take place on December 6, 2024, starting at 5 p.m. at 344 S 1st Street, just steps from Moragne Park.
The fun begins with an exciting lineup of entertainment, including performances by the Gadsden State Community College A Cappella Choir, the Gadsden State Show Band, and special appearances by Santa, the Grinch, and Cindy Lou Who! Enjoy the Coosa Christmas Boat Parade! Plus, this year, we’re adding even more holiday flair with local food trucks, and don’t forget to stop by Frosty’s for a signature Christmas cocktail and sweet treats.
