We are sponsoring an art show at the Gadsden Museum of Art called Conservation Through Art: Saving Alabama’s Hemlocks. The show consists of work by Alabama artists and poets exploring the wonder of the Eastern Hemlock eco-system that is under threat from an invasive insect called the Wooly Adelgid.
As part of the show, we are offering a series of workshops. The final workshop is a glass mosaic session with a well know glass artist Linda Munoz. It will be held at the Gadsden Museum of Art on Friday, July 26. Each participant will leave with a small mosiac image of an animal or tree.
