What will you see:
You will see demonstrations of life in the 1860s in modern-day Etowah County (founded 1866) which was made up of parts of Blount, St Clair, Calhoun, Cherokee, DeKalb, and Marshall Counties. You will also see what war was like in Northern Alabama during one of the darkest days in our history.

Things to do:
There will be opportunities to see the weapons and uniforms of the soldiers, to see medical demonstrations, to hear speakers, and to witness battles like you've never seen before.

Vendors:
There will be vendors on site ranging from Food to Period Clothing, from Blacksmiths to Paintings, from Books to Cast Iron, and even more! Bring your pocketbooks and take home some souvenirs or a gift for your loved one.

There's an admission fee of $5 per person.

5 years old and under get in Free!!

Gates open at 9am each day!

The school days with various stations will be Friday but there will be several historical speakers on both Saturday and Sunday. Pete the Patriot, General Lee (David Chaltas), and Nurse MacKenzie will be doing demonstrations throughout the weekend. The camps are open to the public at 9 am and all our reenactors are happy to share history with you.

Friday: School day, living history and night fire.

Saturday: Ladies' tea, pageant, battle, kid's battle,  and dance!

Sunday: Church service, auction and final battle!
