Scoop Du Jour was established in September 2020 after a shutdown of Goodyear Tire Company. We sat there thinking, Wow? What do we do now? So, with our love for ice cream, we decided to open our very own ice cream parlor.
We searched and prayed for the perfect location and found the best spot in the heart of Downtown Gadsden amongst many other food establishments. We prayed to God to order our steps and he did just that! We recently opened our second location in Jacksonville, AL – the hometown of Jacksonville State University which is the home of the Gamecocks. You can find us on Jacksonville Square if you’re ever in the area or stop by our Gadsden location. We offer up to 32 flavors of ice cream – anything from the cotton candy to old-school butter pecan.
We promise you’ll find something you’d like and won’t walk away empty-handed. We also offer desserts. Our top seller would be our Slutty Brownie. We say all this to say: We know you can’t buy happiness, but you can surely buy ice cream and desserts from us to make you happy. Treat yourself. You deserve our delicious ice cream.
