It has been a very busy and productive week. We had our first Lodging Meeting on Wednesday at The Venue at Coosa Landing. There were 6 hotels represented, and it was a fabulous launch and information share. I am really looking forward to developing an open communication partnership with all of our Gadsden, Etowah County Hotels and Campgrounds. We decided will continue these meetings quarterly!

Yesterday at the Alabama Mountain Lakes Annual Meeting, I was honored to receive my 2nd Year Scholarship to attend STS Marketing College in 2024! Etowah County will be represented with myself for Greater Gadsden Area Tourism and Christi Robinson for Etowah Chamber. Thank you, Tami Reist & team!

Attending Alabama Mountain Lakes Annual meeting learning more about the ever changing Tourism business.

Big shout out to Twelve Baskets Bakery in Glencoe, who baked amazing cookies and blueberry muffins for our Tourism Board meeting today. They were delicious and we highly recommend them! 🍪

The Greater Gadsden Area Visitors Center will be closed today, Monday, September 4th, so that Tina Morrison and Cheryl Nelson Pate can rest and celebrate this Labor Day Holiday. We hope you all have a safe, fun, and relaxing holiday. Stop in at 90 Walnut St. in Gadsden, AL tomorrow for a free Visitors Guide! 🍅😎🇺🇸 #visitnorthal

To our hotel employees, thank you for all that you do!

What a great learning experience! Alabama Governor`s Conference on Tourism. With Sweet Home Alabama`s Jessica Jackson!

So proud of Tynette Lynch for being inducted into The Alabama Tourism Hall of Fame tonight. With 35+ years in the Alabama Tourism industry, she is a role model for us all. We`ll deserved! 👏Congratulations, Tynette!
