Veterans Parade

Are you interested in participating in the Veterans Day Parade?

This year’s Veterans Day Parade will be on November 6, 2024 at 2 P.M. and we want you to get involved!

Lineup information will be issued on November 5 in preparation for the event. Participants will line up at 1 o’clock. Those driving cars or vehicles will report to the Courthouse, those with floats will line up on Forrest Avenue, walking units will gather to the Baker tire building, and all bands will report to 1st Avenue.

The Downtown Gadsden Veterans Parade is Wednesday, November 6, starting at 2pm.

The Patriot’s Day Luncheon and Program will be at The Venue beginning at 11:00 AM.

Tickets are $25 each and are available at Greater Gadsden Area Tourism and Etowah County Chamber of Commerce.

This fall in Etowah County, Alabama from October 6 through November 6, Greater Gadsden Area Tourism in a collaboration with Gadsden-Etowah Patriots Association is promoting four veteran friendly events packaged into one name: Season of Honor. “We want to show everyone how much Etowah County cherishes and honors our veterans,” said Tina Morrison, Executive Director for Greater Gadsden Area Tourism.

The Season of Honor will conclude on November 6, with the free annual Veterans Day Parade in downtown Gadsden, following the Gadsden-Etowah Patriots Association's Hall of Honor luncheon at The Venue.
